TechWell Workshops Successfully Completed Across Six European Countries

The TechWell project has reached an important milestone as all six partner countries have successfully completed their national stakeholder workshops.

Between autumn 2025 and early 2026, project partners in Bulgaria, Czechia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland and Italy brought together educators, school leaders, policymakers, researchers and education technology experts to discuss one of the most pressing challenges facing schools today: how to promote digital wellbeing in an increasingly connected world.

These workshops provided a valuable opportunity to collect insights from a wide range of stakeholders and to better understand both the opportunities and the risks associated with digital technologies in education. Participants explored issues such as screen time, online safety, student mental health, teacher support and the development of balanced digital practices within schools.

The discussions and recommendations gathered during the workshops are now being used to refine the TechWell framework and to shape the next phase of the project, which will focus on testing practical solutions in real school environments.

By engaging stakeholders in every participating country, TechWell ensures that its tools and recommendations are grounded in diverse educational realities and respond to the actual needs of schools across Europe.

We would like to thank all participants for their valuable contributions and commitment to supporting healthier and more conscious digital practices for children and young people.

The project will continue in 2026 with the preparation and implementation of school-based pilots, during which the developed tools and educational materials will be tested in practice.
